Introduction
I'm Amlan, a designer from Puri, Odisha.
I've spent 8 years working across art, content, and product design; with teams at Myntra, Swiggy, Rapido, AJIO, and FreeUp. Right now I'm completing my Master of Design at IIT Delhi, which has mostly involved questioning everything I thought I knew about how people use things.
My work tends to start with a lot of observation, how people actually behave, not how we assume they will. I'm drawn to complex systems where the mess is invisible to the user, and the design's job is to keep it that way.
Outside of design, I make art, cook, ride and notice things probably more than I should.
